Free Initial Session
I know that choosing a therapist can be a difficult process, so I offer a free 30-minute in-person session for you to get to know me and decide if I am the person with whom you would like to work.Insurance
I do not accept insurance payments. I do this because managed care/ insurance companies determine the number of sessions you are allowed regardless of your individual need, and they require a psychiatric diagnosis which becomes a part of your permanent health record. Your privacy and confidentiality can also be compromised by their demand for information.Fees
My fee is $120 per 50 minute hour. There are a limited number of openings for clients who cannot pay full fee. Please feel free to discuss this with me.Questions? Please contact me for further information.
If after this interview you decide that I'm not the therapist for you, I will try to connect you with resources for finding a better match.Fees are payable at the beginning of each session. I accept cash, checks, and credit cards.I will provide you with a "super-bill" as an out-of-network provider. Many insurance companies will accept this bill along with your insurance information and reimburse you directly.
